Jennifer Lopez Buys Sela Ward's Bel Air Estate For $28 Million
The singer/actress purchased the Bel Air home from former House and CSI:NY star Sela Ward. The 8-acre property features a seven-bedroom, 13-bathroom home that was originally designed by famed architect Samuel Marx.
The 13,932-square-foot space features a grand living room with vaulted ceilings and steel windows, a dreamy kitchen with a casual sitting area and breakfast nook and plenty of romantic outdoor entertaining areas.
Her twins, Max and Emme, are sure to love the 30-seat screening room to watch their Mom on film. There is also a downstairs pub, a guesthouse and enough parking spots for 17 cars.
The outdoor terrace boasts a three-sided infinity edge pool, a swimming pond with a sandy beach and an outdoor shower. The grounds also include a 100-seat amphitheater, a pagoda with a fire pit, a vineyeard and an organic vegatable garden.
A price tag for this piece of real estate seems to be the norm for J. Lo. especially when the beauty made $17.5 million a season of American Idol. In recent years, Lopez dropped $22 million on a property in New York and another $10 million on a home in the Hamptons.
