'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Porsha Williams Doing Okay After Collapsing In Parking Lot
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams is reportedly doing fine after she fainted in a parking a lot on Monday, Aug. 8.
According to TMZ, the 35-year-old Bravo reality star was having difficulties in breathing when she collapsed at an Atlanta shopping center parking lot and fell to the ground.
Atlanta Fire and Rescue came to the scene after multiple witnesses dialed 911 for help. Williams was then taken to Piedmont Hospital. Although she's still in the facility, TMZ reported that she's doing ok.
As for the reason of her collapse, the website reported that sources close to Williams blamed the incident to the reality star not eating.
This isn't the first time Williams has fainted in public. Us Weekly noted that Williams fainted on an airplane this past March after suffering from low blood sugar.
Williams starred as one of the main housewives in season 5, 6 and 8 of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta." She also appeared in the seventh season of the reality program, but only as friend of a housewife.
Last April, Bravo announced that the series is renewed for a ninth season. The cast of the upcoming installment is still under speculation but rumor has it that it will include Williams as well as Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak.
In addition, Nene Leakes revealed last June that she will be coming back for the upcoming season "in some capacity."
Appearing on "Live! With Kelly" that month, Leakes was asked if she will appear in season 9, and she said: "Well let me just say I love the housewives. I've been there since day one...I can't tell you guys that yet. But what I will tell you is, I've always been there. I'm loyal to Bravo. So I will be there in some capacity."
