'Grey's Anatomy' Season 13 Spoilers: Caterina Scorsone's Pregnancy Won't Be Written Into Show
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 star Caterina Scorsone recently slammed the ongoing rumors that her character Amelia will be pregnant in the upcoming episodes of the hit ABC series.
While speaking with TV Line, the actress, who is currently pregnant with her second child, said that there hasn't been any talks about Amelia and Owen (Kevin McKidd) having a baby any time soon.
"We are picking up right where we left off, which is hilarious, because I was in a somewhat different geometric state," she said.
In the finale for season 12, Amelia and Owen tied the knot. This means that the premiere episode for season 13 will open with their honeymoon.
The actress added that Amelia and Owen won't have a lot of scenes in the first episode of season 13 because they are preoccupied with their first night as husband and wife.
Meanwhile, Scorsone also hinted on Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) and Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) major storyline in season 13.
According to the actress, Jo and Alex will be at the center of a multi-layered story, but she did not reveal exactly which issues will be tackled in their arc.
"It got messy for them, but that's going to become a really multi-layered story that has social and personal overtones... It's a really opportunity to explore some important issues," she said.
In season 12, it was revealed that Jo came from a toxic relationship with her ex-husband.
After Alex proposed to her twice in the previous season, Jo said no to her longtime boyfriend during both occasions.
It was later on confirmed that Jo came from a traumatic relationship, but this is something that she has not shared with Alex. In season 13, Jo is expected to come clean about her past.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will premiere on ABC on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
