After several months away from the public eye, "Teen Wolf" and "Maze Runner" star Dylan O'Brien has resurfaced on Sunday, July 31, in a fan's Twitter photo.

In the pic, O'Brien is seen posing alongside the female fan, who captioned her post: "MY LIFE HAS BEEN MADE, meeting you was the best thing ever." The 24-year-old actor looks very different in the photo as he's sporting a gruff full beard.

Last March, O'Brien was injured on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" while filming a stunt where he had to transport himself from one moving vehicle to another vehicle in motion.

Fox has since pushed the release date of the film to give O'Brien more time to recuperate. Originally set for release on Feb. 17, 2017, the Wes Ball-directed flick will now open in theaters on Jan. 12, 2018.

Meanwhile, despite his accident, O'Brien will still be part of the upcoming season 6 of "Teen Wolf." In fact, the role of the actor's character next installment might be more important than ever.

"Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him," showrunner Jeff Davis revealed during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. "We're going to see just what Stiles' friendship means to Scott (Tyler Posey), Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig). We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship is with Lydia."

In Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room last July 15, Davis also revealed that Stiles will have at least two huge life moments in the first half of the new season -- one at the start and another one at the end.

"[There is] a very definitive scene in episode 1 on the question of Stydia, so I would suggest Stiles and Lydia fans to watch," Davis said, before adding that Stiles' potential career in law enforcement will be addressed at the latter part of season 6A. "It's something we touch on in the last episode, 610," he said.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 15 on MTV.
