‘Teen Mom OG’ Farrah Abraham Sells LA Home For $900,000 After Flipping It, Living In Texas?
Last season on "Teen Mom OG," Farrah Abraham had decided to leave Texas and move to Los Angeles to capitalize on her growing Hollywood career. She also wanted her 7-year-old daughter Sophia to grow up by the beach and work on her "modeling career". In April, she purchased a condo for $845,000, the Daily Mail reports.
The house looked up-to-date and fairly new. In the show, she seemed excited about the purchase, and fans were under the impression that she was planning on moving into the property.
However, as the Daily Mail report points out, she just bought the home to flip it, and a source told the publication that she never lived there. She sold it for $899,000. This is roughly a 6.5 percent profit, which seems a bit low for flipping a house.
The house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an open-kitchen plan, hardwood floors and four balconies. It is 2,700 square feet.
The house is also available to rent for $5,500 a month on realtor.com.
Farrah's Instagram has some footage of a crew working on the property.
She explained to the Daily Mail that she just bought the home to resell it.
"Yes, I flip homes as well so I flipped it and now ready for a new home owner! Look forward to your article," she wrote in an email.
At the MTV movie awards, the reality TV star said why she bought the house.
"I just passed the house on the way [to the awards] because it's by the studio, so I'm like, I made the right choice," she explained.
If Farrah never moved into the house, where has she been living the past few months? She had said she wanted to move to L.A. to be closer to Hollywood, but she may still be living in Texas.
She recently opened up a frozen yogurt business there, and she also is planning on opening up a children's clothing boutique and a furniture store.
Perhaps she isn't planning a move to L.A. just yet.
