Xbox One vs PS4 Release Date, Specs, Price, News: PS4 Will Not Debut in Japan Until 2014 [UPDATE]
Sony revealed that Playstation 4 will not be launching in its native Japan until 2014. Sony has been noncommittal about the Japanese date sine E3, but it does finally confirm tat the west will be getting Playstation 4 first.
According to Sony, the reason behind the delay was cited as the "availability of content." The company does ensure that there are enough games for the Japanese market ready for PS4 before releasing it, and essentially stated that development for western-centric games is farther along.

The Playstation 4 will launch in Japan on February 22nd, 2014 and will cost 39,980 Yen with a DualShock 4 controller.
Sony's Playstation 4 will arrive in the U.S. and Canada on November 15th, and Europe on November 29th. The Playstation 4 will also have Blu-ray and DVD capabilities, game DVR, 8GB of RAM, 500GB of storage, cloud storage, cross game chat capabilities, live streaming, and Bluetooth 2.1.
The Xbox One will come with a Kinect 2.0, which costs $150 on its own. Meanwhile, the Playstation 4 is offering a bundle package for $499 - the same price as the Xbox One - which would include a Jet Black 500 GB Playstation 4 console, Killzone: Shadow Fall, the Playstation 4 Camera, and two DualShock 4 controllers.
Xbox One will have Blu-ray and DVD capabilities, game DVR, 8GB of RAM, 500GB of storage, cloud storage, external storage, mandatory game installs, cross game chat capabilities, voice commands, and live-streaming.
