'Guilt' Spoilers: Freeform Announces Premiere Date; Anthony Stewart Head Joins Cast
"Guilt" season 1, episode 1 will premiere on Freeform on June 13.
According to Variety, the murder mystery series will air at 9 p.m. ET.
"Guilt" is just one of the many other TV shows that will premiere on the network this summer, which also include return of "Young and Hungry" and "Baby Daddy" on June 1.
June 28 marks the pilot for Freeform's drama series "Dead of Summer" at 9 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, "Guilt" follows the life of an American student named Grace (Daisy Head) who is studying in London and whose roommate is murdered.
The lead female character is automatically named as one of the prime suspects for the killing.
"Guilt" is written and executive-produced by "The Game Plan" execs Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard.
The show's pilot episode was directed by Gary Fleder. The entire episode was shot in London and Budapest last summer.
Other cast members include Billy Zane, Naomi Ryan, Emily Tremaine, Sam Cassidy, Cristian Solimeno, Simona Brown, Kevin Ryan and Zachary Fall.
In other news, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Anthony Stewart Head was recently tapped to join the cast of "Guilt" season 1.
According to TV Line, he will play the role of James Lahue or Grace's stepfather.
The mystery will be tricky for both Grace and James because the latter has direct ties to the victim.
Tremaine, meanwhile, plays the role of Grace's sister Natalie who will be teaming up with a lawyer named Stan Gutterie (Zane) in scouring all levels of London's society.
Natalie and Stan's investigations will go from London's sex clubs to the Royal family, and they won't stop until they find out what really happened to the victim.
"Guilt" is co-produced by Sea to Sky Entertainment and BV Family Productions.
