‘Orange is the New Black’ Trailer, Review, Cast: Taryn Manning Talks Fun On Set [VIDEO]
In the Netflix original series, "Orange Is The New Black," Taryn Manning plays twisted meth head, Tiffany Dogget. And she has a lot of fun doing so.
On August 7th, Manning spoke with The Cut's Jenni Avuins on August 7 about one perk of playing someone who's incarcerated. As you can imagine, it is less than glamorous.

"Well! You can eat that cookie, 'cause you're not going to tell if you put weight [on]," Manning said of the set dynamics. "It's just funny to be around an all-female cast, and obviously there's a lot of talk about, you know, weight and bodies. There are gluten-free girls, and there are girls that like a lot of meat, and there are girls that don't like meat. It's just really funny because it doesn't matter anyway, because you're in prison garb."
The new series features a plethora of personalities, as each character is distinctly different from the others. Women of all sizes, body types, and races came together to haunt Piper Chapman during her year-long stay in prison. The show's creator, Jenji Kohen cited that the diversity drew her to the project.
As previously reported, "Orange is the New Black" is about Piper Chapman, an established girly girl, who has to serve out a sentence in prison ten years after a crime.
