Kendrick Lamar Blasted By Jay Electronica For Receiving Awards, 50 Cent Also Dissed
Jay Electronica released a new song yesterday (Feb. 16) titled "The Curse of Mayweather," and on it he threw a shot at 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar.
The diss came a few days after he blasted both rappers in a YouTube clip, and he followed the release of the new cut by tweeting the G-Unit leader. Those tweets have since been deleted.
"Don't make me expose you as a coward," wrote Jay, after Fif said he's never heard of him.
On the actual song, Electronica talked about the YouTube diss and said he was thinking about sparking an official beef with the "Power" actor.
"I might be on Periscope getting pi-----. Talking reckless, contemplating all-out war with Fif," he spit.
For some reason, Jay has taken issue with the New York spitter and said he doesn't care for a lot of his actions. "50 Cent at once he was a good rapper," he said in the clip. "Right now he got the potential to be a rapper, but he's on some sucker s---- ... And we will slap 50 Cent's eyeballs loose out his scalp."
On "Curse of Mayweather," the Roc Nation signee came for Kendrick Lamar, who he also dissed in the video clip. In that particular line, Electronica blasted K. Dot and others for being involved with award shows like the Grammy's.
"My grandmother died at 82 scrubbing floors / And n---- still running around begging for awards," he spit.
At this point, we'll have to see if 50 or K. Dot responds. For now, you can check out the newly released cut below, as well as the video clip where both rappers were dissed.
