Teresa Giudice Net Worth, Twitter, Blog: Bravo To Cancel ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey?’ [UPDATE]
Rumors have surfaced that the Giudice family's court drama may result in the cancelation of the 'Real House Wives of New Jersey.'
According to the Daily News, Bravo executives are debating the future of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
Teresa Guidice has recently been the center of the reality show's drama. In recent months, Giudice has been pitching her own Bravo spinoff, but to no avail. "They are not interested," an insider told the Daily News. "Bravo only spins off happy situations - marriages, baby news. Not prison."
There was no official comment from Bravo on the matter.
Rumors have surfaced that Bravo's employees are not safe from Giudice drama. According to Fox News, since Bravo is an entertainment network, it does not maintain any First Amendment privileges, meaning executives and personalities on the network may be called to court.
As previously reported, Teresa, 41, and Joe Giudice, 43, are accused of exaggerating their income while applying for loans before their reality TV show debuted in 2009. Teresa previously filed for a mortgage loan of $121,000 in 2001. They then hid how well they were doing in a bankruptcy filing after their first season aired.
They were finally charged in a 39-count indictment with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications, and bankruptcy fraud.
Teresa tweeted on the matter, writing, "Today is a most difficult day for our family."
