George Clooney And Wife Amal Alamuddin's Marriage Being Destroyed By Career Battle?
Amal Clooney has reportedly been trying to smother husband George's movie career.
According to the Australian magazine New Idea (via Stuff), the 37-year-old civil rights lawyer has been harassing the 53-year-old actor on the set of his new Coen brothers' film "Hail, Caesar!," which is being shot in Los Angeles.
"She was all over him and so needy," a source said. "And she was rushing him to finish up."
Amal is angry that George's career has taken priority over her own, and George is angry that Amal refuses to have a baby, the insider said.
"George is refusing to move to London fulltime, where Amal has her successful legal practice, while Amal has decided to focus on her career, rather than having a baby," explained the source.
However, while Amal is determined to have a legitimate career, marrying Clooney may have, whether she likes it or not, put a fatal dent in her courtroom credibility, argued Glenn Selig of The Publicity Agency (via Fox News).
"(Her presence) will, at least for near future, cause a distraction outside the courtroom," said Selig.
He added, "[But] there are clearly important cases that would otherwise not be receiving worldwide exposure if not for her celebrity tie so there is an upside to it."
Despite reports that Alamuddin hates the pretentiousness of Tinseltown, she is apparently taking full advantage of her new celebrity-status, to the endless annoyance of all who must fulfill her outrageous, diva-ish demands, sources say.
"If the service at hotels and restaurants isn't perfect, she complains to the staff and is a nightmare to be around in general," a source told Star Magazine (via Celeb Dirty Laundry). "Amal [now] flips out over things like towels not being folded just so and the pillows not being perfectly plumped."
