World's Largest Rubik's Cubes Mosaic Made out of over 80,000 Cubes

Toronto-based CubeWorks Studio has used 85,794 rubik cubes to create the world's largest Rubik's Cubes Mosaic, a new Guinness world record.  The 13-foot-high, 200-foot-wide artwork was installed in sections on the Macau waterfront in December.

Cube Studio Works in collaboration with international teams to create the incredible mosaic by twisting each of the 85,794 cubes. The artwork has have recreated Macau's skyline and featured various iconic landmarks. A professional crew of 20 people has assembled thousands of pixel art icons which were transformed from art paintings and photos.

This is the third time that Cube Works Studio has set a record for the world's largest Rubik's Cube mosaic.

They have designed and assembled the Sistine Chapel's centerpiece made out of over 12,000 Rubik's Cubes and a 4,050 Rubik's Cube replica of the Last Supper. The studio is planning to create bigger projects in the near future.
