Jessica Simpson Loves Being Pregnant, Announces Second Pregnancy Through Twitter
Jessica Simpson had more than one reason to celebrate on Christmas Day. The singer Tuesday announced via Twitter that she was expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
Simpson tweeted a picture of her daughter Maxwell Drew playing in the sand along with the words "Big Sis" spelled out. Adhering to the Christmas color theme, Maxwell was dressed in a pair of red and white striped onesie and was smiling as she played in the sand. A cute red bow in her hair completed the look.

Simpson accompanied the photo with the message, "Merry Christmas from my family to yours."
This is the second time Simpson is using Twitter to announce her pregnancy. When she was pregnant with Maxwell in 2011, Simpson used the same social networking site to announce her pregnancy by posting a photo of her dressed up as a mummy for Halloween. Along with the photo she wrote, "It's true-I'm going to be a mummy!"
News of Simpson's second pregnancy has been doing the rounds for a while now after US Weekly reported that the 32-year-old singer was eating whatever she wanted. At a friend's birthday lunch, the Weight Watchers spokesperson ate grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings and stayed away from alcohol, a source told the publication.
When Simpson was pregnant with Maxwell, she gained approximately 60 pounds, which she shed with help from Weight Watchers. And Simpson's second pregnancy will not alter the relationship she has with the healthy living service providers, according to GossipCop.com.
"There have been no changes to our contract with Jessica and we have a great relationship with her," the company told GossipCop early this month. "We're thrilled with the ads we shot with her in November and we can't wait to launch our winter campaign later this month, which will include Jessica."
The company even tweeted a congratulatory message after Simpson announced her pregnancy. "Congrats to Jessica Simpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell!" Weight Watchers tweeted. "Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!"
