Miss Universe Olivia Culpo is just like the rest of us. She has constant junk food cravings and likes anything sweet. But when she is competing she keeps her diet in check to stay in shape.
Speaking to People magazine, Culpo revealed that she stuck to a low carb, high protein diet during the pageant. “It's important to keep your metabolism up, so I eat breakfast, then I'll have a snack of almonds or something. Then [I eat] a lunch of high protein, low carb [food], then another snack of fruit – and then dinner.”

Dinner usually consists of chicken and vegetables and she hits the gym “extra hard” to work off additional fat, Culpo said.
And for that extra protein Culpo also recommends Special K bars. "I like the meal replacement bars the best. No offense to the 90-calorie ones, but they just don’t do it for me! There’s more protein in the meal bars, and I think a high-protein diet with low carbs is a great choice,” Culpo told Shape.
But for her victory meal, she went for a high carb meal. According to TMZ, Culpo stuffed herself with actual food after winning the title, and the meal consisted of one giant portion of penne pasta with chicken and red sauce, some bread and half a cupcake.
However, she didn’t indulge in her craving for peanut butter and jelly, which has been a constant throughout the pageant. "This is such a random craving, but all throughout the pageant I was craving peanut butter and jelly! Oh my goodness, it is so good. I could live off of it," she told Shape.
