Nexus 4 does have LTE chip but could not be used due to any network support.

Nexus 4 is the new smartphone from Google. With innovative hardware, the latest version of Android, and the best Google apps. Nexus 4 puts the world's information at your fingertips. However, one thing that Nexus 4 lacks is that, the support for LTE connectivity.

It is true that there may be a seven-band LTE radio inside the Android, as the Google Nexus 4 teardown revealed, but it cannot really work with such a network because the device does not have the necessary modem installed.

However, here is a solution according to a report revealed. It seems that a simple software update can allow the Nexus 4 smartphone to run on LTE Band 4. All users have to do is dial *#*#4636#*#*. After that, choosing to connect to AWS networks should allow the Nexus 4 to run on LTE networks on Band 4.

After setting the network mode to automatic, the smartphone reconnects with LTE on and seemingly running.

This is great news for T-Mobile users as LTE Advanced is a mobile communication standard.

Nexus 4 comes with Google Play, your one-stop-shop for digital entertainment with over 675,000 apps and games, music, movies and more. Keep your favorite digital entertainment in your pocket, and always at your fingertips.
