“I'm tired of wearing the same damn Nike Air hat,” rapped Eminem in “If I Had.” But all his fans know his love for head accessories, especially caps.
He is rarely seen without one and has even worn the same Nike hat for close to five years on the freestyle circuit.
Therefore, it is no wonder that Eminem chose his most preferred fashion accessory – a cap – to announce the launch of his next solo album.
On Monday, a cap made in honor of his home team, the Detroit Tigers, went on sale through Eminem’s website with “World Champion” written on the sides followed by the release dates of his previous solo albums starting from Infinite in 1996 to Recovery in 2010.

Interestingly, the last date on the cap is 2013, which industry sources feel, might be an indication that the eighth album might release next year.
Eminem’s previous solo album was Recovery, which went on to become the best-selling album of 2010. In its first week in the U.S., the album sold approximately 741,000 copies.
Meanwhile, MTV reported that in August, Eminem confirmed that he was working on a new album. "I've actually kinda just started. I've been on the move a little bit too, so I've in between things, sneak songs in here and there."
Platinum producer No I.D., too, confirmed to MTV News that the duo has agreed to hit the studio together. "I definitely sat down and spoke with Eminem about working and we agreed to get in the studio and see what we could do," he said. "He's one of the best, I want to work with one of the best and try and give some music contributions. I think that would be one of the next steps in that lineage of what I'm trying to do."
Fans of Eminem can get these caps through his official website. These Eminem baseball tribute hats are available in both home and away colors, and are priced at $30. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to The Marshall Mathers Foundation, a charity for disadvantaged youth.
