Though many expected actress Jessica Biel to wear Elie Saab for her wedding with fiancé, singer Justin Timberlake, it has now emerged that the beautiful bride went with a pink gown from Giambattista Valli.
Many might say that the rose hue is a rather unconventional choice for a bride, but of late a number of celebrity brides, the recent being Anne Hathaway, have been wearing colourful gowns.

It’s surprising that Biel chose a rose hue for her wedding gown, considering the Total Recall actress was seen in a lot of white designer gowns since her engagement was announced in December.
For instance, during her Total Recall promotional tour, Biel was clicked in a white Valentino pantsuit and on another occasion in a feathery Giambattista Valli couture peplum dress.
Her love for Valli didn’t stop with just one dress for the wedding. It has been reported that the actress wore four Valli-designed dresses in the events leading to the wedding.
According to reports, Biel’s wedding dress was made of silk mousseline and silk organza with pink floral motifs and ruffles. The veil had Biel’s heirloom pearls.
Valli is known for dramatic details and this is what influenced Biel to choose the designer. Speaking of her dress, the actress told Hello Magazine that she wanted it to be "romance, romance, romance. Kind of whimsical and dramatic."
The Italian designer also dressed all the women in the bridal party, including the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom wore Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gowns.
Meanwhile, the men, including the groom, father of the bride, father of the groom the pageboy, the master of ceremonies and the three groomsmen went with Tom Ford. The Telegraph reported that Timberlake looked dapper in a “custom-made black satin piped evening jacket, matching vest, evening trousers, white cotton voile evening shirt, black satin bowtie, ivory silk pocket square, silk evening socks and patent loafers.”
