The Art of Frenkenweenie Exhibition by Disney
A tour exhibition presented by Walt Disney Studio will feature director Tim Burton's artwork for the upcoming stop motion animated film "Frankenweenie."
Tim Burton is famously known for his conceptually dark themed films such as Edward Sciccorhands, SLeepy Hollow, Batman, and Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Art of Frenkenweenie Exhibition will showcase the process of stop motion animation along with original sketches drawn by Burton. An assortment of handmade puppets and set designs use for the film will also be on display.

Frankenweeie is a heartwarming animation about a boy who desired to bring his beloved dog Sparky back from the dead using scientific experiments. The movie was based from a short film by Burton made in 1994. Frankenweenie was shot in black and white along with some touches using 3D rendering. The voice cast includes Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, Christopher Lee, Catherine O'Hara, and others.
Burton's artwork finished its show at the NYC Museum of Modern Art and is currently being exhibited at La Cinémathèque in Paris, France. The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition will premiere in Barcelona, Spain, at CineEurope, June 18-21, and in the U.S. at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, California, July 11-15. The exhibit will make a stop by Anaheim, CA on September 14th along with seven other countries.
Burton's animated film Frankenweenie will hit theatres October 5.
