Land Rover presented a limited edition Range Rover Evoque at Beijing's auto show on Sunday. The new luxury car was created in collaboration between the carmaker's design team and Victoria Beckham.
Beckham, who was the winner of 2011 British Fashion Awards, went from Spice Girls pop stardom to designer. The British fashion designer worked directly with Gerry McGovern Land Rover design chief to build the limited-edition model, of which 200 will be made worldwide and only five destined for the U.S.

With its debut in September 2011, the Range Rover Evoque has received more than 100 international awards.
"Both Land Rover and Victoria Beckham are British luxury brands with credibility and global appeal, this dual 'Britishness' makes the collaboration even more exciting especially when considering the huge audience for bespoke products around the world, particularly in China, Russia and Brazil where Land Rover is growing." said McGovern.
Beckham share her enthusiasm in the project and expressed her love for the brand.
"I was very excited to be working with Land Rover as I have an enormous amount of respect for the brand. I've always driven a Range Rover, for me they are the epitome of quality and luxury," said Beckham. "My brand is known for quality and workmanship and so is Land Rover. So for me it felt like the perfect collaboration."
The car's hand-finished matte grey paint is contrasted with a glossy black finish on the roof, side, hood vents, wheel arches and wheels.
Evoque's design uses rose-gold accents on its unique 20-inch gloss black forged alloy wheels, badging and grille. The tailored luxury theme of this vehicle are seen in its four sport design seats which are finished with a semi-aniline Vintage Tan leather. The hand-finished 'baseball' stitch details was chosen by Victoria as a reference to her sporting husband David Beckham.
"Victoria always maintained that she wanted her husband David to be proud to drive this car," McGovern said.
The Evoque will sell for $129,000 and only 200 will be produced. China will be the first to have access to the new line in October according to Reuters. The main markets for the new Range Rover Evoque are US, China, Germany, Russia and Brazil.
