Liberatum Hong Kong, the International Festival of Culture in collaboration with Carrera and the British Council, is bringing together from April 27-29 international cultural leaders, creative minds and acclaimed artistic icons to Hong Kong to be connected with their counterparts in Asia.
Carrera presents Liberatum HK expecting that the program improves the reputation of Hong Kong as a cultural city and gives tribute to Hong Kong's cultural heritage. It will present an ambitious and original program, which will aim to place Hong Kong firmly at the center of the international cultural scene in 2012.

"Our vision is to produce an awe-inspiring three-day cultural convention, featuring a diverse and stimulating programme, and further raising the profile of Hong Kong as a forward-thinking world city," the official Web site said.
Pablo Ganguli, the Liberatum founder and artistic director, together with Rosey Chan Liberatum, co-founder and creative director for Hong Kong, have gathered personalities as the Grammy Award winning producer, musician and designer Pharrell Williams, architect David Gianotten, Nobel prize winning author Sir VS Naipaul, photographer Wing Shya, Italian Vogue editor-in-chief and fashion icon Franca Sozzani, the Upper House designer Andre Fu, among many others.
Liberatum has announced that it will hold a multidisciplinary cultural celebration in London later this year giving a chance to know and connect with some of the world's greatest cultural minds from music, art, design, literature, architecture, fashion, science and film.
