Phillippe Starck, the acclaimed French designer, hinted that Apple is currently working a new revolutionary product that is scheduled for release in eight months.
"Indeed, there is a big project together which will be out in eight months," said Starck in an interview with Everything and Its Opposite.
Speculations are that Apple may be working on a new 50-inch TV. Apple Design Head Jony Ive, was reported to have a 50-inch Apple TV prototype secured in his design studio. The late Apple CEO Steve Jobs was also commented in an interview with biographer Walter Isaacson saying that the secret to building an integrated easy-to-use TV would need "the simplest user interface you imagine."

Though Starck gave no additional clues to what the product may be, he described Apple as a "religious cult of secrecy" and that he used to meet with former Apple CEO Steve Jobs regularly.
"For seven years I came to see him once a month in Palo Alto and elsewhere Monday I go there, because even though he is dead, now I will see his wife. We liked to talk all things interesting, "said Starck.
Philippe Starck has not designed much with Apple in the past, according to Apple Insider. Few Apple related products that the famous designer worked on were premium iPhone and iPad speakers for the company Parrot, which retailed at $1600. Starck's other design works vary from toothbrushes, revamping hotels, restaurant designs, motorcycles, and windmills.
Other rumors suggest that Starck is working on Apple's next iPhone design, which may include a complete revamp of the exterior due out later this year.
