Shipping Container Village in Beijing
LOT-EK's Sunlitan South, a retail complex and living center in Beijing, recently emerged as a distinctive village built by shipping containers. Located on the north-east side of the development, the project consists of interconnected buildings designed by KKAA/Kengo Kuma & Associates, SHoP Architects and Sako Architects, which are used for retail, restaurants and event spaces.
